How a contact's opt-out and consent history work
What TRIGMAZE records every time someone interacts with your account.
Details
Every time a comment or DM triggers an automation, TRIGMAZE records a consent entry on that contact — what happened (they commented, or they DMed you first) and when. This is what proves, if it’s ever in question, that a message TRIGMAZE sent was a reply to a real interaction, never unsolicited outreach.
A contact’s opt-out (see Opt-outs and the keyword blacklist) is permanent and checked before every single automated send on that account — including a future automation you haven’t built yet. You can also mark a contact opted-out manually from their detail page if they ask you directly instead of replying STOP themselves.
